Qualifications

Cathy Press is trained as a person centred counsellor and her work is influenced by transpersonal and inter-cultural approaches as well as critical analytic theory. Cathy very much believes in an humanistic and integretative approach to counselling, responding to the individual needs of each client.

Since qualifying as a therapist in 1999, Cathy has worked as a therapist with both Southend Women's Aid,  the Kernos Centre, a counselling centre in Sudbury and in private practice. Cathy works with clients experiencing a wide range of issues including sexual abuse, rape, child abuse, separation, loss and bereavement, trauma, adoption, domestic abuse & violence, bullying and relationships.

Depression

Fees

Fees are £35.00 per hour for individuals and £45.00 per hour for couples.
In some cases depending on circumstance fees can be negotiated.
