Domestic Violence Risk Assessment & Safety Planning  - One day workshop

To develop an understanding of techniques for routine enquiry, safety and crisis planning and raise awareness of the risk poised by domestic violence abusers/perpetrators, in order to encourage effective and focussed interventions and consistent responses to those living with domestic violence and abuse.

Participants will identify domestic violence and abuse and how interventions can be more effective. They will develop their own best practice in order to achieve an improved response to the people they work with and will consider and implement practical ways to improve the support offered to those living with domestic violence and abuse.
